My First.

Okay. This is the moment. I always wanted to do this. Couldn't believe it took me so long to finally get my butt moving on this. Better late than never is what they say. Holding that motivation close to my heart, here I start my first blog. Here, I start anew to pen down a new me. Writing had always been something that I always loved. Right from the time of my school days, when the teachers read aloud my essays to the class, appreciating the content and the flow, I always knew I had a penchant for it. Not sure why I never gave any serious consideration to this personality of mine then. It might be due to the stereotypes that we have in India. The very timing that I was born in mattered. Born to a pretty middle class family in India, it was quite natural that I went with the norm. The norm was quite straight forward: Doctor or Engineer. My father being a Mechanical Engineer himself in one of the Nation's Premier Defense Research labs, it was just a matter of time before I choose the latter.

History and Politics interests me a lot. The theory of evolution and religion intrigues me; I am not still not able to strike a right balance between the two. An old man gathering the left overs on the road side or a child seeking alms: human pain and suffering is something that deeply moves me. I am not quite sure how successful an engineer I would be, but I would certainly cherish my stint here as an amateur bad writer.
